Indications 

Tears Naturale II is an ophthalmic medication indicated for alleviating burning, irritation, and discomfort associated with dry eyes. 

Tears Naturale II is formulated with two lubricating agents, dextran and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. They work by creating a transparent and moisturizing film on the cornea to help maintain eye moisture and relieve dry eye symptoms. 

Uses and Dosage 

Carefully read and adhere to the instructions provided on the packaging of Tears Naturale II. If you have any inquiries, consult your doctor or pharmacist. 

Typically, 1 or 2 drops of Tears Naturale II are administered to the affected eyes as needed. 

Before use, visually inspect the solution; refrain from using it if it appears cloudy or undergoes a color change. 

To properly administer Tears Naturale II: 

1. Begin by washing your hands thoroughly. 
   • Be cautious not to touch the dropper’s tip or allow contact with your eye or any surfaces to prevent contamination. 
2. Tilt your head back, look upward, and pull down the lower eyelid, creating a pouch. 
3. Directly position the dropper over the eye and dispense the required number of drops to the created pouch. 
4. Look downward, gently close your eye, and place a finger at the inner corner near the nose, applying gentle pressure for 1 or 2 minutes to prevent medication drainage. 
5. After each use, securely replace the cap. 

If using another form of eye medication, like other drops or ointments, wait at least 5 minutes before applying additional treatments. Administer eye drops before eye ointments to facilitate their entry into the eye. 

For the best results, use Tears Naturale II exactly as directed on its packaging. Do not use more of it or use it more frequently without a doctor’s advice. 

Consult a medical professional if your condition persists or deteriorates beyond three days.

Serious Side Effects

• Vision changes 

Stop using Tears Naturale II and contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any of the serious side effects above. 

Allergic Reactions 

Seek immediate medical attention if you exhibit signs of an allergic reaction to Tears Naturale II, such as: 

• Difficulty in breathing 
• Face, lips, tongue, or throat swelling 
• Hives
