Fish oil capsules contain polyunsaturated fatty acids, namely omega-3, which are present in the oils of specific fish, vegetables, and other plant sources. As the human body cannot naturally produce these fatty acids, they must be obtained through dietary intake. Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids function by inhibiting the body’s triglyceride production. Excessive levels of triglycerides can cause coronary artery disease, heart disease, and stroke. 

Fish oil, in conjunction with a proper diet and exercise regimen, is utilized to effectively reduce blood triglyceride levels.

Side Effects 

Allergic Reactions

In the event of an allergic reaction to Fish Oil, please seek immediate medical assistance if any of the following symptoms arise:

• Difficulty breathing 
• Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat 

Severe Side Effects

If any of the subsequent severe side effects occur, discontinue use of Fish Oil and promptly contact your doctor: 

• Fever, chills, body aches, or flu-like symptoms 
• Chest pain 
• Irregular heartbeats 

Possible less severe side effects of Fish Oil may include: 

• Back pain 
• Unpleasant or abnormal taste in the mouth 
• Upset stomach or belching 
• Mild skin rash 

Common Side Effects  

• A fishy taste in your mouth 
• Fishy breath
