Nystop is an antifungal drug used to treat skin fungal infections. Nystop is used to treat yeast infections on the skin. Nystop kills yeast by interfering with their cell membranes. Most typically used to treat candidiasis, a form of yeast infection that can arise in the mouth, throat, or vagina. Nystatin topical powder is a powder form of the medication applied to the affected skin area. Â
Uses and DosageÂ
Even if your symptoms improve, continue to use as directed. Nystatin topical powder should not be taken orally. Only apply to your skin. Keep it away from your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn). Hands should be washed before and after use. Before using, clean the afflicted area. Make sure to dry thoroughly. Apply powder to the affected skin.
