Use and DosageÂ
Nix Dermal Cream is applied a thin layer of cream all over your skin from your neck down to your toes (including the soles of your feet). Be careful to apply cream in all skin folds, such as between your toes and fingers or around your waist or buttocks.Â
To use Nix Dermal Cream, follow these steps:Â
- Make sure your skin is clean and dry before applying the cream.Â
- Apply a thin layer of cream all over your skin from your neck down to your toes, including the soles of your feet.Â
- Massage the cream into your skin until it is fully absorbed.Â
- Leave the cream on your skin for 8 to 14 hours.Â
- After 8 to 14 hours, wash off the cream by showering or taking a bath.Â
- Put on clean clothes and bedding.Â
- Repeat the application in 7 days if necessary.Â
To prevent re-infection, all clothing, bedding, and towels used by an infected person 2 days before treatment should be machine-washed with hot water and dried in the dryer on the hot cycle for at least 20 minutes or dry-cleaned. Mattresses used by an infected person should not be used for 48 hours, and toilet seats and combs should be disinfected. Â
