If you are using a nasogastric (NG) tube, add the contents of one sachet of Nexium granules for oral suspension to a syringe, add 15 ml of water, and mix well. Administer the mixture through the NG tube, and then flush the tube with additional water.Â
The dosage of Nexium granules for oral suspension will depend on the patient’s condition, age, and weight, as well as the healthcare provider’s instructions. The medication is available in dosages ranging from 10mg to 40mg, with the following guidelines:Â
- For patients weighing less than 20kg: 10mg once dailyÂ
- For patients weighing more than or equal to 20kg: 10mg to 20mg once dailyÂ
- In some cases, the dosage may be increased to 40mg once daily, depending on the patient’s condition.Â
