Indications 

Needle Nano is the shortest and thinnest pen needle used to inject insulin. It minimizes pain during injection and significantly reduces the chance of injecting into muscle tissue since there is no need to pinch the skin while administering insulin. 

Needle Nano incorporates EasyFlow technology for enhanced insulin flow and ease of use, particularly beneficial for users with hand-strength challenges. 

In addition, its patented PentaPoint Comfort five-bevel needle tip ensures a more comfortable and easier injection compared to traditional three-bevel needles. 

Uses and Dosages  

Needle Nano is compatible with all pen injection devices. 

To use Needle Nano correctly, follow these steps: 

1. Start by washing your hands. 
2. Peel off the tab of the Needle Nano and attach straight onto the pen injection, ensuring a tight screw. 
3. Remove the outer cover of the needle and set it aside for disposal after injection. 
4. Remove and discard the inner needle shield. 
5. Check the insulin flow by dialing 2 units and injecting into the air until a drop is visible. Repeat if necessary. Dial your dose. 
6. Inject straight in by pressing the thumb button and count for 10 seconds before removing the needle straight out from the skin to ensure an accurate dose.

7. If recapping is needed, place the outer cover on a flat surface and gently push the pen needle down into it using one hand.  
8. Unscrew the pen needle from the pen and dispose of it immediately in an appropriate sharp’s container. 

Cautions 

Some patients such as those aged 2-6 or those who are extremely lean may require a pinch-up technique during its use. Consult your healthcare provider for further details. 

Always remember to take off both the outer cover and inner needle shield of Needle Nano before administering the injection. Failing to remove both covers may prevent proper medication delivery, posing a risk of serious injury or death.
