Lactaid Extra Strength is a supplementary lactase enzyme. It mimics the body’s naturally occurring enzyme to facilitate lactose breakdown and enhance milk tolerance. This mechanism effectively alleviates symptoms associated with lactose intolerance, such as cramps, diarrhea, and gas. 

Uses and Dosage

Side Effects

Allergic Reactions 

Although rare, a severe allergic reaction to Lactaid Extra Strength can occur. Immediate medical assistance should be sought if any of the following symptoms manifest:

• Reddish, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin (with or without fever) 
• Wheezing 
• Tightness in the chest or throat

• Mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat swelling
