Description
Indications
Jamp K20 is indicated for treating or preventing hypokalemia (low blood potassium levels).
Classified as a mineral supplement, Jamp K20 replenishes deficient potassium in the body, supporting the proper function of cells, kidneys, heart, muscles, and nerves.
Uses and Dosage
Read the accompanying information leaflet of Jamp K20 before initial use and with each prescription refill. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for any inquiries or additional information needed.
The prescribed dosage of Jamp K20 may vary per individual based on their specific needs.
Typically, this medication is taken once daily until potassium levels return to normal range.
Take each dose of Jamp K20 with a glass of water and food or just after a meal to reduce the risk of stomach irritation.
Ingest the tablets whole without crushing, chewing, or sucking. Chewing or crushing the tablet might lead to an excessive release of the drug at once, while sucking on the tablet may irritate your mouth or throat.
If having difficulty swallowing whole tablets, consider these alternative methods:
- Divide the tablet in half and take each half separately with a glass of water.
- Create a water suspension by following these steps:
- Place the whole tablet(s) in approximately 1/2 glass of water (4 fluid ounces).
- Allow about 2 minutes for the tablet(s) to disintegrate.
- Stir for approximately 30 seconds after the tablet(s) has disintegrated.
- Swirl the suspension and promptly consume the entire glass contents by drinking or using a straw.
- Add an additional 1 fluid ounce of water, swirl, and immediately consume.
- Finally, add another 1 fluid ounce of water, swirl, and immediately consume.
For optimal results, take Jamp K20 exactly as directed. Consult your doctor before making any changes to the prescribed dosage, frequency, or duration of intake.

Certain foods like squash, spinach, cabbage, lentils, kidney beans, orange juice, bananas, tomatoes, zucchini, or cucumber are rich in potassium. Check with your doctor about any restrictions on consuming these foods.
Refrain from using potassium-containing supplements or products without consulting your doctor first. Some items like salt substitutes or low-salt foods may contain potassium. Mixing certain products could lead to excessive potassium intake. Check the labels of all medications to identify potassium content.
