Gaviscon Liquid Icy Mint with Cooling Action is a variant of Gaviscon Liquid that is specifically formulated to provide relief from heartburn, acid reflux, and other related symptoms. It is designed to create a foaming action in the stomach, which helps to neutralize excess stomach acid and create a protective barrier to prevent acid reflux. 

Gaviscon Liquid Icy Mint with Cooling Action contains alginic acid as one of its active ingredients. Alginic acid is a naturally occurring compound found in brown algae. It works slightly differently than other antacid drugs by creating a foaming action in the stomach. When you take Gaviscon Liquid Icy Mint with Cooling Action, the alginic acid reacts with the stomach acid to form a foam-like barrier on top of the stomach contents. This foam barrier helps to prevent stomach acid from flowing back up into the esophagus, providing relief from symptoms such as heartburn and acid reflux. 

Use and Dosage 

Gaviscon Liquid Icy Mint with Cooling Action should be taken orally according to the recommended dosage instructions. Shake the bottle well before use. Typically, take 2 to 4 teaspoonfuls (5ml spoonfuls) of the liquid 4 times a day after meals and at bedtime.  

Take Gaviscon Liquid Icy Mint with Cooling Action after meals or at bedtime. You can dispense the product using a spoon or other measuring device. Do not exceed more than 16 teaspoonfuls in 24 hours unless advised by a doctor.
