Uses and Dosage 

The dosage of the Dexcom G6 Receiver is not applicable as it is not a medication. Instead, it is a device that receives and displays glucose data from the Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring System. 

The Dexcom G6 Receiver is typically paired with a Dexcom G6 sensor inserted under the skin to measure glucose levels in the interstitial fluid. The sensor wirelessly transmits the glucose data to the receiver, which displays the readings. The receiver can be connected to a compatible smart device or used as a standalone device.

Side Effects 

The Dexcom G6 Receiver is a glucose-monitoring device and does not typically cause side effects. These can include:

It’s essential to be aware that the lessons may have slight variations and to use additional blood glucose meter readings to make diabetes treatment decisions if the lessons from the Dexcom G6 do not align with your symptoms or expectations. 
• Hypoglycemia or Hyperglycemia: The Dexcom G6 system is designed to provide continuous glucose monitoring and alerts for high or low blood sugar levels. However, it is crucial to be vigilant and not solely rely on the system for detecting hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) or hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) events.
