Clearaway Plantar Wart Remover is a topical medication indicated for the removal of plantar (foot) warts. 

As a keratolytic agent, Clearaway Plantar Wart Remover increases skin moisture and dissolves the substance binding skin cells to facilitate easier shedding of skin cells. In addition, this wart remover provides a cushioning effect on the wart to alleviate walking discomfort. 

Uses and Dosage 

Thoroughly read and adhere to the instructions provided on the packaging of Clearaway Plantar Wart Remover for the initial use and with each refill. If you have any queries, seek guidance from your doctor or pharmacist. 

Clearaway Plantar Wart Remover is a medicated disc that should be applied to the wart every 48 hours as necessary for a maximum of 12 weeks until the wart is eliminated. 

To properly apply the medicated disc: 

1. Begin by washing the affected area, optionally soaking the wart in warm water for 5 minutes. 
2. Thoroughly dry the area. 
3. Apply the medicated disc directly on the skin with the dark, sticky side, positioning it over the wart. 
   • If needed, cut the medicated disc to fit the wart. 
4. Cover the applied medicated disc with the enclosed cushion. 

To maximize the benefits of Clearaway Plantar Wart Remover, use it regularly, exactly as directed. Establish a routine by applying it at the same time each day to aid recall. 

Should your symptoms persist or deteriorate, or if you suspect a potentially serious medical issue, seek immediate medical assistance. 

Side Effects 

Common Side Effects 

• Mild skin irritation, rash, itching, stinging, dryness 
• Alterations in skin color in the treated area. 

If any common side effects last or worsen, inform your doctor right away. 

Serious Side Effects 

• Intense sensation of burning, stinging, peeling, dryness, or irritation following the use of the medicated disc 

Discontinue using Clearaway Plantar Wart Remover and call your doctor immediately if serious side effects occur. 

Allergic Reactions 

Rarely, Clearaway Plantar Wart Remover may induce a severe allergic reaction. Stop use and seek immediate medical help if you experience: 

• Wheezing or difficulty in breathing 
• Hives 
• Itching 
• Feeling light-headed 
• Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat

Cautions

• Diabetes 
• Poor blood circulation (e.g., peripheral vascular disease) 
• Skin infection or irritation 

Consult your doctor to determine the safety of using Clearaway Plantar Wart Remover if you use other medications, including prescription and nonprescription drugs, vitamins, supplements, and herbal products. 

Do not apply Clearaway Plantar Wart Remover to open, sunburned, windburned, dry, or irritated skin. 

Avoid using Clearaway Plantar Wart Remover on moles, birthmarks, warts with hair, genital warts, or on the face or mucous membranes.
