Drug Description

Indications

Canesten 3-Day Vaginal Combipak is a treatment for vaginal yeast infections. It contains clotrimazole, an antifungal medication that helps eliminate the yeast infection internally. The external cream contains clotrimazole as well, and it is applied to the opening of the vagina to relieve itching and burning externally.

The active ingredient in Canesten 3 Day Vaginal Combipak is clotrimazole, which is an antifungal medication. It works by stopping the growth of yeast.

Use and Dosage

Canesten 1 Day Vaginal Combipak combines a slim vaginal tablet with an external cream for a complete treatment over three days. The clotrimazole tablet is inserted into the vagina, where it works to eliminate the yeast causing the infection. The external cream can be applied to the external genital area to relieve itching and burning.

To use Canesten 3 Day Vaginal Combipak, follow these general instructions:

  1. Start by washing your hands thoroughly.
  2. Open the package and take out the vaginal cream and tablets.
  3. Before bedtime, insert one vaginal tablet into the vagina using the applicator provided. The tablet should be pushed as far as possible without causing discomfort.
  4. Apply a small amount of the vaginal cream to the opening of the vagina to help relieve external symptoms. Squeeze a small amount of cream onto your finger and gently spread it over the irritated area.
  5. Wash your hands again after applying the cream.
  6. Repeat this process for three consecutive nights, even if symptoms improve or disappear.

If you miss a dose, use it as soon as possible and continue with your regular schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a missed one. If you are not sure what to do after missing a dose, contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
