Indications 

Aerochamber Adult Plus without Mask is a valved holding chamber device indicated for use with meter dose inhalers (MDIs) and soft mist inhalers to improve inhalation and ensure effective delivery of medication to the lungs. 

This device holds the medication within its chamber, allowing individuals to inhale gradually and deeply for efficient delivery to the lungs while reducing throat residue. 

Furthermore, Aerochamber Adult Plus without Mask is equipped with a dedicated flow-vu inhalation indicator that moves in sync with the user’s breath, ensuring proper usage and medication delivery. 

Uses and Dosage 

Aerochamber Adult Plus without Mask should only be used under the guidance of a physician or licensed healthcare professional. Read and follow the device usage instructions provided and consult your doctor for any questions. 

To properly use Aerochamber Adult Plus without Mask: 

1. Shake the inhaler and remove the inhaler and aerochamber caps. 
2. Insert the inhaler into the backpiece of the chamber. 
3. Place the mouthpiece into your mouth, sealing your lips around it. 
4. Exhale, then press the inhaler at the start of a slow inhalation. Inhale deeply through the chamber for a full breath. Hold breath for 5-10 seconds before exhaling. Alternatively, Exhale, press the inhaler at the beginning of a slow inhalation, and breathe in and out through the chamber for 2-3 breaths, keeping your lips sealed. 
   • Use the flow-vu inhalation indicator to count breaths. 
   • If a whistling sound occurs, slow down your inhalation, as it indicates inhaling too quickly. 

Aerochamber Adult Plus without Mask should be cleaned weekly. 

For proper cleaning: 

1. Remove the back piece. 
2. Twist to detach the front piece. 
3. Remove the mouthpiece cap. 
4. Soak the parts for 15 minutes in a mild solution of liquid dish detergent and lukewarm water. 
5. Gently agitate and rinse the parts in clean water or place them in the dishwasher’s top rack without heat drying. 
   • Use a rinse aid in the dishwasher. 
6. Shake out excess water and allow parts to air dry vertically. 
7. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembly. 
8. To reassemble, fit the front piece onto the chamber’s end and twist firmly until securely locked. 
9. Align the backpiece feature with the flow-vu inhalation indicator and press firmly to attach the backpiece. 

Cautions 

Avoid boiling, sterilizing, or cleaning the Aerochamber Adult Plus without Mask in a dishwasher at temperatures exceeding 158°F (70°C), as it may result in permanent damage. 

Refrain from cleaning the Aerochamber Adult Plus without Mask in a dishwasher with heavily soiled dishes. 

Do not share Aerochamber Adult Plus without Mask with anyone.
