Description
Indications
Plecanatide is indicated for the management of chronic idiopathic constipation and irritable bowel syndrome with constipation. Its mechanism of action involves augmenting intestinal fluid volume and facilitating the transit of ingested food. By promoting improvements in stool consistency and reducing symptoms such as abdominal discomfort and incomplete defecation, Plecanatide may aid in the amelioration of associated conditions.
