Indications 

Prevident 5000 Plus Fruitastic is a prescription toothpaste indicated to protect against dental caries and promote remineralization of tooth enamel. It can be used for the prevention of cavities (tooth decay). 

Prevident contains 1.1% sodium fluoride and delivers 5000 ppm fluoride. Sodium fluoride works by strengthening the enamel of the teeth and making them more resistant to acid attacks from bacteria in the mouth. 

When you brush your teeth with Prevident 5000 Plus Fruitastic, the fluoride ions in the toothpaste are absorbed into the enamel and help to repair microscopic areas of tooth decay before they become cavities. This process is called remineralization, and it helps to restore the strength and health of the teeth. 

Use and Dosage 

Use Prevident 5000 Plus Fruitastic gel as directed by your dentist, usually once daily just before bedtime instead of your regular toothpaste.Here are some general instructions on how to use Prevident 5000 Plus Fruitastic Gel: 

1. Squeeze a pea-sized amount of toothpaste onto your toothbrush. 
2. Brush your teeth for at least two minutes, making sure to cover all surfaces of your teeth. 
3. Spit out the toothpaste, but do not rinse your mouth with water. 
4. Use Prevident 5000 Plus Fruitastic Gel once daily before bedtime, or as directed by your dentist. 

Use the Gel in moderation and do not swallow the toothpaste. For adults, do not rinse your mouth, eat, or drink for at least 30 minutes after use to get the best results. Cautions 

• Teeth discoloration: Prevident 5000 Plus Dental, some users have reported that the toothpaste made their teeth about 3 shades darker and made all crowns and fillings stand out. Therefore, use the toothpaste with caution. 
• Side effects: As with any medication, there may be side effects associated with the use of Prevident 5000 Plus Fruitastic. While it is considered safe when used as directed, some people may experience allergic reactions, such as hives, itching, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat. 
• Prescription requirement: Prevident 5000 Plus Fruitastic is only available with a prescription from a dentist and is specifically designed for individuals at high risk for cavities. Therefore, it should only be used under the guidance of a dental professional. 
• Not suitable for children under 6 years of age: Prevident 5000 Plus Fruitastic is not recommended for children under the age of 6, as it could lead to the development of dental fluorosis, a condition that causes white spots or streaks to appear on the teeth. 
• Avoid swallowing the toothpaste: While Prevident 5000 Plus Fruitastic is safe to use when applied topically to the teeth, it should not be swallowed. Ingesting large amounts of fluoride can cause stomach upset, nausea, and vomiting. 
• Use in moderation: Prevident 5000 Plus Fruitastic should be used only as directed by your dentist and in moderation. Overuse or excessive consumption of fluoride can cause a condition called fluorosis, which can cause white or brown spots on the teeth. 
• Store in a cool, dry place: Prevident 5000 Plus Fruitastic should be stored in a cool, dry place and kept out of reach of children. High temperatures and humidity can cause the toothpaste to break down and become less effective.
