Description
Indications
Pataday (olopatadine) is a highly effective over-the-counter medication used to treat ocular itching and redness caused by allergies. Previously marketed under prescription brands such as Patanol and Pazeo, Pataday is now available without a prescription.
Pataday (olopatadine) functions by obstructing the production of histamine in the eyes, a chemical compound that triggers symptoms of itching and redness during an allergic reaction. This medication effectively helps alleviate allergy-related symptoms by regulating histamine levels in the eyes.
