MYLERAN contains the active compound known as busulphan. This pharmaceutical agent is indicated for treating several hematological disorders, including chronic granulocytic leukemia, polycythemia vera, myelofibrosis, and essential thrombocythaemia. These conditions collectively encompass various malignancies impacting the hematopoietic system. 

In hematological malignancies, aberrant cellular proliferation within the bone marrow results in uncontrolled growth, compromising the essential physiological functions of standard hematologic elements. MYLERAN mitigates these disorders’ associated symptoms, thereby contributing to an improved sense of well-being.

Uses and Dosage 

Administer this medication orally following your physician’s instructions, either with or without food, typically once daily. 

The prescribed dosage is determined based on your body weight, medical condition, results of laboratory tests, and your response to the treatment regimen. • Seizures 
• Severe fatigue 
• Painful urination 
• Toe/joint pain 
• Loss of consciousness 
• Rapid and forceful heartbeat 
• Cloudy or blurred vision

Before commencing treatment with Busulfan, communicate any allergies you may have, whether to Busulfan itself or other allergens, with your healthcare provider or pharmacist. Busulfan may heighten your susceptibility to infections or exacerbate existing conditions. Avoid close contact with individuals harboring contagious diseases that have a propensity for rapid transmission, such as chickenpox, COVID-19, measles, or influenza. Before receiving any immunizations or vaccinations, inform your healthcare professional about your use of busulfan. Steer clear of contact with individuals who have recently received live vaccines, including those administered intranasally, such as the nasal spray flu vaccine. 

Exercise caution when handling sharp objects like razors and nail cutters, and refrain from engaging in activities with an elevated risk of cuts, bruises, or injuries, including contact sports, to reduce the likelihood of injury.
