Lactaid Fast Act Chewables are used to manage lactose intolerance, a condition where the body lacks the necessary enzyme (lactase) to break down lactose, a sugar predominantly present in milk and dairy products. 

Lactaid Fast Act Chewables are lactase enzyme supplements that aid those with lactose intolerance in consuming dairy without discomfort. It works like the body’s naturally produced enzyme (lactase) to break down lactose into glucose and galactose, effectively alleviating symptoms like diarrhea, bloating, cramps, and gas. 

Uses and Dosage 

Read the information leaflet and package instructions for Lactaid Fast Act Chewables before using them for the first time and each time you refill. If you have any questions or need further information, consult your pharmacist or healthcare provider. 

Lactaid Fast Act Chewables should be taken daily each time dairy-containing foods are ingested, ideally with the initial bite or sip of the dairy product.  

After a 30–45-minute interval, if you are still taking dairy-based foods, an additional chewable should be taken. 

For best results, take this medication exactly as directed on the packaging or as directed by your doctor if it is prescribed. 

If your condition persists or worsens, or you suspect a severe medical problem, seek immediate medical attention.

Allergic Reactions

• Blistered, red, swollen, or peeling skin (with or without fever) 
• Wheezing 
• Chest or throat tightness 
• Difficulty in breathing, swallowing, or talking 
• Unusual hoarseness 
• Mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat swelling

Cautions
