Indications 

Gravol Baby, also known as Gravol Kids or Gravol for children, is a formulation of the medication dimenhydrinate specifically designed for use in children aged 2-12 years old. It is commonly used to relieve symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and dizziness, particularly those associated with motion sickness.  

The active ingredient in Gravol Baby, dimenhydrinate, works by blocking certain receptors in the brain called histamine H1 receptors. This helps to reduce the signals sent to the vomiting center in the brain, thereby alleviating feelings of nausea and the urge to vomit. Gravol is not recommended for use in infants under 2 years old without consulting a healthcare professional. 

Use and Dosage 

Gravol Baby Suppository is inserted into the rectum and typically pushed in about a half inch for Baby. The suppository should be inserted into the rectum and allowed to dissolve. Do not exceed the recommended dose or use for more than a few days without consulting a healthcare provider. 

To use Gravol Baby suppositories, please follow these general instructions: 

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. 
2. Take the suppository out of its packaging. Make sure it is at room temperature, as it will be more comfortable for your baby. 
3. Lay your baby on their back or side, with their legs bent towards their chest. 
4. Gently separate your baby’s buttocks to expose the rectum. 
5. Carefully insert the suppository into the rectum, pointed end first. The suppository should be inserted about 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) into the rectum. 
6. Hold your baby’s buttocks together for a few minutes to ensure that the suppository stays in place. 
7. Help your baby remain in a comfortable position for a few minutes to allow the suppository to dissolve.
