Before applying the gel, inspect its color; refrain from use if there is a change in color or if it becomes cloudy.
To administer this eye gel properly, follow these steps:
- Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water.
- Hold the tube between your thumb and forefinger, positioning it close to your eyelid without touching the eye or any surfaces.
- Tilt your head backward and use your index finger to pull down the lower lid, creating a pocket.
- Squeeze 1-2 drops of the gel into the pocket formed by the lower eyelid.
- Release your index finger, close your eye, and gently roll your eye in all directions to distribute the medication.
- Use a clean tissue to blot away any excess ointment from around the eye.
