The Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device is a 1-click lancing device with a drum of 6 preloaded lancets. Also, it is designed for comfort.Â
To use the Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device, follow these steps:Â
- Remove the cap from the lancing device.Â
- Insert the drum, white end first, ensuring it is pushed all the way in. Each drum typically contains 6 pre-set lancets. Â
- Place the cap back on the lancing device.Â
- Set the penetration depth by turning the dial to match your individual skin typeÂ
- Place the device against your fingertip or an alternate site (if applicable).Â
- Press the button on top of the device all the way down to activate the lancet and obtain a blood sample.Â
- After each use, push the white lever back and forth once to refresh to a new lancet.Â
- The number displayed on the device indicates how many lancets you have left before you need to replace the drum.Â
